BBC archive recording from 1972, broadcast January 2011 as part of the "Guitar Heroes at the BBC" programme.

Notes:
- Paco Peña was born in Cordoba, Spain, and began learning guitar from his brother at the age of six.
- In the late 1960s he left Spain for London where his recitals of flamenco music captured the public imagination.
- He founded the world's first university course on flamenco guitar at the conservatory of music of Rotterdam.
- Peña was Tony Blair's guitar teacher and they became close friends.
- He coats his nails with glue to stop them breaking. We're not sure if Tony does the same.
