A Dick Wallen video. 1979 -Ron Shuman wins the big show in the Gary Stanton house car. Steve kinser is still in a Mitchell chassis #11 owned by Karl Kinser- while they are waiting for Dick Gaines to see if he comes back-they go on to many championships and last until October 1994. Sammy Swindell shows up this year with a car sponsored by Fed-Ex.

@vintagesupermodified It's fine just the way it is, I can hear it in my mind's ear, and this song fits real well. Kinser looks so young, and the cars are still sportin those skinny front tires.

Screaming small blocks always sound better. When i got this clip, It had elevator music. "IF" I could get the fine art of dubbing down, I'd like to replace the music with the right sound, as I'm sure you agree. It would have to be so good, no one could tell it was done.

I took my son Bryan Gossel to our first Knoxville nationals when he was 10 on his 10 birthday ! and now he has raced there . I helped Tim Green take his nationals car apart in the old Trosel Garage which is in the Museum !

@StanBennet No, and IF I did, I wouldn't post it. Posting fatalities upsets those that were close to the drivers.
