I get your point. His move to make an apology speech in English to Asian entertainers lacks respect and sincerity. God knows he can speak Chinese. But he didn't do so simply because he is exploiting the admiration that the public has towards English speakers. And in doing so he brings the message that he is a more westernized person who has a opener attitude towards sexual activity. I personally think that this move is childlish and insincere.
