Mac also gets Kernel Panics. In 3 types. Letters on screen (console typing like), Black screen saying, that you have to reboot a computer and my favirite one - system freezes and you cant do anything. Windows has 2. And linux has only one. Its appering when your driver is from another distribution and you forced system to install it anyway. So, i prefer Windows and Linux way ;)
