The Blizzard of 2010 is now officially the 4th largest snowstorm in Virginia history. Started at 10AM on Friday, Feb 5th, and snowed all day, all through the night, and all day Saturday, Feb 6th, finally ending in the late afternoon. Our yardstick showed 29" - our area near the Blue Ridge was reported to have been in the 30" range. Thigh high to us, elbow high to the ponies, and well over the heads of the Shelties. Quite the spectacular snow!
