it looks an aweful lot like something at my college over in the machinery building i saw everyday on my way to classes. I always knew it had something to do with robotics but wasnt quite sure what it was exactly.

This is wonderful, since any robot that can replace a person from doing a boring job is a help. Workers develop carpal tunnel syndrome and then demand disability from the employer.

They assemble small DC motors in this demo.
It's just a demo to show what is possible.
These delta robots are not (yet) commercially available.
