They were in the early 1970s and I would guess that they still are. I was in Kobe with other Seattle officials in 1974. We loved it and the Kobe delegation that came to Seattle seemed to feel the same way. I will look for your other videos.

Beautiful and nice pics but u think too large fields, mountains or lovely lakes such in the north area well fit this song. Probably, Ryoko & Mary (Hopkin) share a same idea to sing, simlply and honestly. I wish i were an audience of Ryoko's live where listening to Ryoko's Those were the Days. Thanks for this upld. もう随分昔のことですが、フォークソングに出会ったのがこの曲で­す。　良子さんの明るい歌声にいやなこともにな吹き飛んでいくかんじで­した。　その頃は父親の仕事の関係で雪深い青森市に住んでいました。　そんなこともあって明るい歌声のこの曲に惹かれたのだと思います­。
