@420HighAllTheTime420 Yeah those Olds were "UGLY"!! To say the least lol. Buick were like you said old people's car haha. If you couldn't afford a Caddy the Buick and Olds were the next steps to look for luxury. But that Pontiac Bonnie was a sweet car and it did run pretty good with that 3800. I'm not sure what brand would have been better to get rid of? They killed Olds off way before the others. We had a few well off People who wanted to buy Pontiac brand here but GM said no....that bites!!!
@bobg69 WoW really???? no shit but oldsmobile were always ugly and buicks are for old ppl than dont want a chevy but cant afford a cadillac lol... pontiac would have been a better car to keep around
The 3 sister cars were good. Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Buick were the same car, just different body panels, plastics and a few minor things. They ran down the same assembly line just like a lot of other manufactures do for there different cars and trucks. My 98 Bonnie was a sweet ride till it met with 3 different whitetail deer with the ex wife at the wheel lol.
@420HighAllTheTime420 these 3 are what is called sisters. Under the cosmetics basic's there the same car. All ran down the exact same assembly line. You pulled certain parts off each one and you could not tell them apart. I did like my 98 Bonnie over the other also but I feel it was just on looks and options, plus loved the instrument lights at night.......that was sweet!!
A stripped down clone of the Oldsmobile 88 which itself was a stripped down clone of the Buick LeSabre. Which is why GM was able to eliminate both Pontiac and Oldsmobile.
@wjcollier07 That's funny, because I actually live in Wisconsin and they're EVERYWHERE. I had a '96 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight LS before and I never had the problem of seeing a hundred of my car.
