Fyi, all "KFC" packaging now says "KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN" once again, finally, after more than a decade of being afraid of the word "fried" (at least on one side of the buckets and boxes in the USA). This is in the USA, I don't know about elsewhere. Interestingly it is actually pressure cooked, and has never been fried in fryers or pans. Back in the old days before "fried" was a bad word for a while, the Colonel called it that as the closet description.

Yeah! Talk about integrating but only bringing back a stereotype [revisited in the retro-hit film "The Help".] Well, regardless of your race, fried chicken is one of the best inventions EVAH!!!

theres only white people in that commercial, but todays KFC commercials only have black people in them

'his boys' sounds mighty gay.

Peter: Is the colonel in?
Kentucky hick: He dead
Peter: Is Mr.Sanders here?

After first view this was an old ad I remembered. Then after reading some comments and second view, people marching around a giant barrel of chicken in a field with the Harland and the boys on top???? WTF! And people got PAID for this ad!!!
Women with the long hippy-chick hair were so sexy back then. One of the cool things i liked about the early 1970's.Then women had the long feathered hair look (Farrah hair) in the late 1970's.Sexy as well.
