Sunday 21 June 1981, midsummer's night. Despite the ticket stub, it was standing only in the RC stalls. Anyone else remember the dickhead up in the box (stage right)? Computer World, TEE, The Model, Neon Licht,Radioactivity, Robots, Pocket Calculator, Cumputer Love, Autobahn. . .

The curtain rose to reveal four very static men who, after 3 or 4 minutes were mugged by 4 guys in black who rushed on. We'd been cheering showroom dummies. Where would we be without our sense of humour - Germany.

The date is wrong. Kraftwerk were due to perform in Liverpool on May 12th 1981, but because of problem with the video screens (coming from Japan) the tour was postponed for a few weeks. They eventually played Liverpool on 21 June 1981.
