Problem was that I had the Key Lock set to "ALWAYS" in preferences.
If you set Key Lock to "30 Percent" (in preferences)you will not have this issue...
But still Traktor pro should not have this issue to begin with. Why give us the option of "Always" if its going to mess up the way scratching works....
I think key lock on any piece of software or hardware is too temperamental. The only thing I would trust that feature on is Ableton Live and even then you have to be sure to get the correct settings.

How can you only hear the vocals in songs?

it is not a bug, it is an option that obviously does not agree with a scratch dj. The point of key lock is to keep the key while the record changes speed. If you want to scratch you don't want it to stay in key or it does not sound like a scratch. And than, you have the option to use it at 30% like you found, which is just a compromise.

Had Traktor Pro for a few weeks now, it certainly has its bugs still, but I have never experienced this issue. Perhaps you could post some more information on your system and interface set-up.
