But the law has not actually prevented abortion -- it's only made it unsafe and potentially deadly. According to new research by the Center for Reproductive Rights, the law creates a dire human rights crisis in the Philippines. According to Guttmacher, every year, more than half-a-million women risk their lives to unsafe procedures. Our report tells their stories.

  • SO abortion--illegal and legal is the answer to societal ills? And it's the Catholic's church's fault--I would say it's abortion's fault. We can do better for these women!
