  • 512Ms rev to 8k not 512TRs

  • @gomythos - This TR has had it's ECU "chipped," so there is NO redline.

  • @512BBi Interesting, since it never went anywhere near 8k.

  • @ekbusdriver - yes it did. Look at the 37 second mark of the video at the tach needle. The speedo is totally maxed out and the tach is at 8K. You can't see the tip of the tach needle because of the steering wheel, but the tail end of it is at 1,000 so that means the tip is at 8,000.

  • @512BBi Well, IMHO, it never completely lined up. No matter, it was closer than I initially thought, and it is a SWEET-ass clip. Just wish you had some numbers after the pull!!!!

  • @ekbusdriver - actually, I believe it probably hit 8,100 or 8,200. If you look closely at the tail end of the needle at the frames at 36 and 37 seconds, you will see it is higher than the 1,000 mark.

  • @doodydude234 - you're the dumb ass... Can't you READ? The description states that the car was on a DYNO at 8,000 RPM and hit 205 on the speedo.

  • @TreAldMatVideo - What are you talking about??

  • That shifting was REALLY rough.

  • Walter Koenig the German tuner of Ferraris always said that the Ferrari flat 12 had serious potential, and therefore it is hardly suprising he made his insane 1000hp "Koenig Competition" based on it in the late 80's.

The sound alone is reward enough.

  • @400SA - My friend had his Ferrari performance "chipped" so the rev limiter no long functions. He can rev it as high as he wants to within reason.

  • I believe the fuel cutout for the 512TR is more like 7250 rpm (about what it hit here), althogh I'm sure the engine could take 8000.
