The pulse type of propulsion is quite possibly a way to decrease the amount of G forces that are currently inherent in the rocket propulsion systems of today. If it can be adapted to work in the vacuum of space, I think it could be used to create artificial gravity for the astronauts without the need for centrifugal force. A linear force could be generated that would feel more natural because there is no Coriolis effect. And it could still accelerate at a constant rate.
