  • i would get you source for that textbook i referred to, but i really cant find it, i dont own it. there are so many books called world religions lol

  • I don't need it, it was wrong. There are a lot better sources online... The CIA World Factbook, adherents dot com, and many others.

  • in whole, "go along with me here" IF my view was actually correct and when people got saved i think Christianity has done a lot of good, not to mention the help and physical relief for people. i guess this is all biased though cause i have been on mission trips and seen these things, but i dont think it makes them untrue.

  • This is only because you, and people like you find it necessary to attribute all your personal success to religion. I find it quite sad. It doesn't mean that the religion is actually doing any good. Every time an athlete points at god when he makes a touchdown, doesn't mean that religion has done good... Sorry to burst that bubble.

  • well places with out a god might not put their faith or worship a government but they will certainly worship other things. It is human nature to worship. what we worship is up to the individual. as you can tell i am a christian, and these are my views so i dont want to reflect on all the other christians. but i will be straight up with you just as there is no solid evidence of God existing or NOT existing. history makes it clear that Jesus did live.

  • If history makes it clear, then why does a movie like "The God Who Wasn't There" exist (the cause of the blasphemy challenge" which makes it VERY clear, that History doesn't prove Jesus at all... but may be proving Horus or Dionysys, since they came first. If you believe that the savior is important, then your entire religion is a sham to what the greeks and egyptians created first.

  • @tocardx you talk about not accepting Father Mathews apology (which he didnt even owe) at face value , and then you so easily say "sorry" to burst your bubble .. your not sorry dude .. I mean come on , for real here bro . Terms like "people like you" is BIGOTRY and I dont care as I think all humans have some form of it but your entire stance is biased based on your belief, you are there fore the very thing which you are arguing against. and an atheist state can commit crimes too btw , Albania?

  • I don't have a problem with public myths until they start causing harm to others. Chrisitianity should be denouncing the wars in Iraq and Afghanastan. Why is the Pope so quiet? This isn't leadership by Christians. No vocal outcry shows approval of the wars. Live for peace, not religion.

  • adherents dot com.

  • so He is either a lunatic claiming to be God, or actually the Holy Son of God. they are good questions, but 2/3 of world arn't christians. i dont know about that fact. i just took a religion course and the recent world religion book has atheism at 2% of the world christian at the most popular and islam as the second. so i dont know how credible that is. religion does more harm than good, i dont know how true that is. man's use for religion has been very evil.
