Mod MMG accepts award at JavaOne 2009

At this JavaOne session on 2 June 2009, James Gosling and Jonathan Schwartz talk about the new Java Store. Mark Gerhard (CEO of Jagex) joins in and tells a little bit about RuneScape.

Jagex Ltd. won the Duke's Choice Award for Best Desktop Game.

I played runescape from it's mid to late classic stages, when I was still in early middle school, all the way to my first year of college, and steadily watched things start to decline after Mark took over, to the point where I was no longer interested in playing. I unsubscribed a few months ago and don't plan on going back.
