Every FF fecker should get the same treatment on the campaign trail , Never mind a fire station what about the Billions wasted on the banks, the Quangos , the pensions the Lies they told Us about the financial situation of the Irish economy back in 08, And lets not forget " We dont Need a Bailout". gem0151, barry may turn out to be a good t.d. for offaly,who knows? unfortunately a lot of people have their doubts. he is the only t.d. in north offaly now and he has to work hard for the whole region,not just the places where he secures a lot of votes. he could start gaining respect by ditching fianna fail and going independent. f.f. is a dying entity and now is the time to get out. learning to communicate properly with people would also help him. its time to leave sneaky f.f. politics behind

gem0151, if he is your da apologies for any statements which may have been taken personally. you are probably very young and dont realise the wider implications of the budgetary reductions by the co. council on vital emergency services in offaly. you have every right to stand up for your dad,in fact it is admirable that you do so, but now that he is a t.d. he will come under even more pressure to restore these services in his own county.

its gem0151.. and i do know him well. and what u said about him not bein safe in the election he got the highest vote in offaly and 2nd highest in consituancy and he is not ignorant hes shy .. geno151 if you know barry cowen so well then you know about the part he played in closing three fire stations in offaly.you could write a book on the underhand dealings of cowen and offaly county council. if you dont know,then i suggest you find out. i guarantee you will be shocked and your opinion of him just might change.
