[This song is a old Sḵwxwú7mesh-ulh (Squamish) song from the wife of Chief Billy. It comes from our ancestors. It is a very sacred song. It comes from the village of Puýam. It is the "Snowbird" song]
This was filmed April 4th, 2009 at the Joe Mathias Centre for the Tribal Journeys Canoe Meeting, where the Sḵwxwú7mesh (Squamish people) hosted different canoe families from nearby in planning for the Tribal Journeys to Suquamish, Washington.

Where does the Sḵwxwú7mesh spelling come from? I was at a trivia night in Ottawa recently where one of the questions was to spell the PC version of Squamish. No one got it. ;)
