Indian policeman killed by violent New Delhi protesters

Family members grieve for a New Delhi policeman who was beaten and killed by a violent mob protesting the brutal gang rape of a woman on a bus on December 16. The 47-year-old married father of three's family blame the public for his death saying he was only following orders. Al Jazeera's Divya Gopalan reports from New Delhi.

Saying that a policeman or a soldier is doing their job is not good enough - if their job includes corruption, abuse of power and such things, their duty to human kind is to leave that negative path. Just for you info, the GoI has set up the largest aid program with 75 billion dollars for the rural people. No one claims that there is no poverty in those poor states, but we are lifting millions out of poverty every year, and the fact remains, you need us more than we need you! Just look at the outcry when we opted for French planes instead of british ones. You need our capital to keep your sluggish economy running, to achieve your ridiculous 1% growth rate.
