*UPDATE: All of the surviving puppies in this video have left the shelter and are in local, foster care. They have an out of state rescue group committed to saving them.*

At the Marlboro County Animal Shelter in Bennettsville, South Carolina the puppies are housed together in an open pen that keeps standing fluids upwards of 2 inches deep on the floor. Multiple litters are kept together, in various age ranges. No vetting occurs on the premesis. The odor here is INCREDIBLE. I liken it to when my neighbor had their septic tank fixed in mid summer mixed with a truck full of pigs. There is NO HEAT and NO AIR CONDITIONING at this "facility". They are fed adult kibble. I did not see ANY clean water available, or food. It's like a Third World shelter.

These dogs are really afraid I can see it and feel it Thi8s is animal cruelty and a shelter where they should be cared for not punished .I have played with an idea of starting a no-kill shelter for all animals now may be the time .they don't want you to see the way they keep these dogs there are to many in one pen please if you can find it in your heaRT ADOPT ALL OF THESE DOGS THEY NEED HELP
