A talk about nutrition and my past.
Fat
Protein
Cabs
for more information you can read the amazing book good calories bad calories or the amazing schwarzbein principle.

did you know that saturated fat is not the biggest killer people think it is. the no.1 reason for heart disease (i believe) is the massive MASSIVE increase in sugar intake. Sugar and processed food is the biggest change in our diet in the past million years. ITS HUGE. Eat real foods. That could be picked, milked, or grown.

  • I have a degree in Nutrition and you just squeezed my 4 years of education into a 10 minute video!

  • This is a great video, very informative and accurate. The only thing I would suggest is giving an example of what 125-150 grams of carbohydrate is, like 2 pieces of whole grain toast and a 1/2 cup pasta, for example. Numbers can throw people off, we don't understand grams and kilo calories, food examples make more sense when paired with the numbers. You obviously care about people, and that makes you very endearing, thanks!

  • I have my B.S. in Food, Nutrition, & Dietetics, soon to be an RD in a couple of months....:), You have said this beautifully!

  • I beg to differ about the protein and the eggs. My dad eats once a day, but when he eats, it's loads and loads and loads... literally, a pile of food, meat, fat, etc. etc. etc. My poor, unhealthy dad... :/

  • Thanks SO much for this. I'm battling multiple autoimmune illnesses & rather than relying on the NHS to 'save' me, I'm looking at good health starting on the inside (as well as any future treatment with traditional medicine). The average person doesn't know what you just told us. I knew too much stodge was bad but didn't know why. I've recently vastly upped my fruit/veg/protein/good fat intake & decreased my carbs. Now I know to do resistance work too. Again, thanks! This could be life changing.

  • Wait are you married? I noticed a ring... Or are people in UK wear it on the opposite hand?

  • thank you for making something very complicated, simple for us who don't have a degree in nutrition.

  • Huge informations. Thank you and if you want tell us again about it.Love!

  • GREAT INFO!! Thank you!!

  • Wow! I didn't know you had a degree in nutrition. As a new subsciber, I've been going through some of your videos and came across this one. I read food labels and stay away from any foods that contain high fructose syrup, hydrogenated oils, etc., however, I crave sugar and anything carbohydrate. What can I say, you've inspired me to do better!! :)

  • You are on the cutting edge of nutrition and health. You are absolutely right that cardio can be damaging to your body as well as aging. Too bad we also jumped on the cardio bandwagon and went overboard on that. The newest research seems to point toward resistance and strength training as superior to cardio. Thank you for your logic adn knowledge, as usual.

  • this is an awesome video ! i am a thin person and i needed something to balance out my body better so i counted carbs adn ate the extra protiens and did resistance training through the gym and i have always been one to walk . i feel fantastic now better than i felt in years and i thiank you from my heart
