On Jan. 12, 2011, the one-year anniversary of the Haiti earthquake that took the lives of 4 Lynn University students and 2 professors, the Lynn community participated in the first annual Knights Unite Day of Caring. Students, staff and faculty lived the legacy of the six who died fulfilling the university's mission of international education and service learning by packing meals for the poor, cleaning the local beaches and making sandwiches for hungry children, among other projects. See Lynn's dedication to volunteerism in this video.
