Love this song .

@eatonjohnrobert ..............I think it's a Buck Owens signature one a cheapish guitar made by Harmony evidently ...I like cheap guitars :)...Well done nice cover of this BTW ...keep rolling !
-
echoes of neil young .....
-
@eatonjohnrobert Cheers for that...saw your own version..great piece of work..picked up the guitar recently myself after a 30yr gap...lovin it...now i know from your version where i was goin wrong..thanx again bro

What kind of guitar is that?
-
@sidurkin I agree with your comment for sure. Now that you mentioned it, it really does sound like a Neil Young tune.
-
@eugejnr1 No that's in standard tuning. My guitar is tuned down a half step and when I wanna play along with this video I have to put my capo on the 1st fret.
-
@panr317 cheers pal...still cant play it for shit though:) great album
-
@eugejnr1 nope - standard tuning. Unusual way of playing the D chord, though - regular 1-3-5 notes, but pretty different finger positions. Seems like he does it to get to the Csus and Gsus more easily. This whole album had me at "I don't remember..."
-
@coolanddark seems lite the marketeers have decided "Lucky Now" gets to be on the playlists, probably 'cuz it's not as long as this one. Love how he gets mesmerized by the sound of the guitar...

pure genius - this whole album is phenomenal and without a doubt one of the best albums of 2011
-
Song is beautiful..guitar playing especially (on the record)
-
I want to believe there's a T.S. Eliot's "The Hollow Men" influence going on here.
-
Another sublime track from 'Ashes & Fire'.
-
nasty......awesome? :P YESSSSSSSSS
-
nasty.
This is such an amazing song. Simple and beautiful. It's probably the best Neil Young song NY didn't write.
