Penelope Spain on NewsChannel 8 Discusses Holiday Gift Bags for Incarcerated Youth

This holiday season, while most of us are celebrating with family and friends, thousands of youth in correctional facilities across the country will be away from their families. About 250 holiday gift bags will be created and distributed to benefit the incarcerated youth of the District of Columbia.

Penelope Spain, CEO of Mentoring ToDAY was interviewed on NewsChannel 8 in Washington, D.C. discussing a holiday gift giving campaign that they sponsored, as well as the Campaign for Youth Justice, Justice for D.C. Youth, Free Minds Book Club, and D.C. Alliance of Youth Advocates.
