A Maori corporal in the nineteenth century British army finds his family slaughtered by his own army and vows "Utu" (Maori for revenge) to rid his land of white people.

some haka are "war cry", but most are not. a haka is a traditional form of male dance. haka is used for story telling, rarely for war. a well composed haka can retell great events, put over a POV, talk about topical issues like treaty, land, health etc... this one is from a movie, its just for cinema, entertainment...the AB haka ka mate, is a haka about a man who was chased and survived. it is a celebration... not a war dance....

I know, thats the point i was trying to make, i admit i should of used the term Maori Tribal Dances instead of "hakas" (because this is a actually a type of tribal dance as uve just said) Have a good day =D

@FluffFaceProductions there are different kinds of maori tribal dances, the haka is one of them. there are also waiata a ringa, pao, poi, rakau. none of the other things relate to a haka...
