Test run of my Commodore Vanderbilt passenger set. This is the only layout I have b/c the wife has decreed no space for a permanent setup. I actually have two more passenger cars, but as you can see I won't be using them for a while. Thankfully, I have the Tinplate Trackers of Austin Tx so that I can enjoy the full set.....

  • does it smoke the greatest? i was just wondering because when the camera was showing the engine, it wasnt smoking the greatest. idk

  • it actually smokes quite well. It's not like an MTH fan driven smoke unit, but very good for Lionel standards. I didn't have my smoke fluid handy, hence no smoke for the video. With this engine, b/c of the custom paint, it's very important to use Lionel smoke fluid. I used a bachmann fluid, and ruined my original shell when the fluid dripped on it and bubbled the paint off. I had to get a replacement shell for $135.00 from Lionel.
