@TBustah Ever seen the 96-99 Mazda 929?....it kinda looks like a 95-99 Toyota Avalon....however that Last Gen of 929 wasnt exported to america.

@form109 Probably. I looked up the dates as well, but they're so close that it's hard to say who exactly stole it from who. That's why I said "one was stolen from the other", it's hard to say for sure.

There could have been some sort of corporate espionage involved. Nissan might have actually designed the car, but then Mazda got a hold of some blueprints or something, and beat them to the punch.

But that's unlikely. You're probably right: Nissan stole it from Mazda.

@TBustah i see some resemblence....this gen 929 lasted from 91-96 the j30 went from 92-97....so i think that Infiniti did the copying...or stealing as you say lol.

It looks a lot like the Nissan Leopard/Infiniti J30 of the same era.

I mean a LOT. Clearly, one was stolen from the other.
