I agree with Sumgirl1990...for such a deep song with meaning, the video could have been done better to go along with the song. Maybe they were going with simplicity, but still doesn't do the song justice. That's what I think.

yes yes this helps me a lot! i understood the metafor for the wall between is.. but i didnt understood the teacher thing.. but now u explained it.. it is kinda stupid of me not to understand the metafor for this one either.. but thanks :)

"All along the wall between us" - the wall is used as a metaphor for problems and issues between two people that they are having trouble working out.
"I see a teacher there for us" - when people have these problems and issues, there is usually something to be gained and LEARNED from it, if both parties are willing to work it out - thus issues and problems become teachers. :)
