A Constitutional convention is equal to opening pandora's box. The system hasn't failed. All the politicians and their incessant pulling of the levers for interests groups are the failure. Might really want to think about what you are asking for. Democrats will send you into tyranny just as fast as Republicans will, unless you are fool enough to trust either with the Bill of Rights. The Founders were far wiser than any man today bar none. I really doubt the American people can handle it.

Bill Clinton spoke of a Constitutional Convention during his campaign. At the time, I agreed with the idea, and I still do, but after the Bush admin, I suspect that the Constitution as it is written is the only thing keeping the Bilderbergs at bay.
