@Shalica It's smiliar to english when the sound of 's' converts to 'z' when its in the middle of a sentence... like in 'raising' it sounds like 'raizing', right? It happens in every language when the 's' sound is in the middle.

Isn't it sora not 'zora'? Sora means sky, well I don't know about 'zora'.

@hayaku13 This is called Rendaku(sequential voicing) , a phenomenon in Japanese morphophonology. It often happens to prefixed words. For example, when you put "曇りkumori(cloud)" and "空sora(sky)" together, it'll be "曇り空kumorizora(cloudy sky)", not "kumorisora". "S" usually changes to "z".
