I'm not sure why this would get labeled as black metal, but it held my interest. They might have just made a new fan. As someone else mentioned, it's reminiscent of Sleep or something else that's doomy.

everyone should just look past the fact that this guy is a weirdo and has a manifesto describing shit nobody cares about (AFFIRMATION/BURST BEATS/SET OF RULES YOU MUST FOLLOW) and just listen to the music, if you don't like it, regardless of what classifications and rules black metal must adhere to (even though i wouldn't call it black metal), then fine that's cool, and if you like it, that's cool too, but this arguing is pretty pointless

funny to see so many people ranting about hipsters when the average black metaller is an underdeveloped teenager with a completely distorted view of the world and human history (fashism anyone?), that thinks, ehm, things like satan or ancient gods exist and are worth worshipping. Only bigots are even worse, maybe.

Here's how I feel: if you actually hate the music on its own terms, fine. But if you seriously hate this band because the front man is pretentious or has different opinions about music than you do, yet have no problems listening to music by a white supremacist murderer... well, that's kind of hilarious. (Nothing against Burzum's music, by the way... I just find it funny that hipsters are apparently hated more than racist killers.)
