There is no substitute for power whether it be in a automobile or a aircraft. power equals preformance . Some of the aircraft shown in this video appeared to be having difficulties getting airborne. If I were the pilot, this would worry me as all aircraft should have some reserve power to be used in case of a problem. The orca seemed to have a abundance of power.

In my experience ,if you offer to pay (all or part of ) the tow fee,the pilot will let you take the controls when you're high enough.
It's very serene once you've dropped the tow-line.

@MrSHAJW Can I actually rent one to fly alone or at least have a co-pilot or something sit behind me? I think it would be a great feeling to be in the front... like a pilot, instead of a side-view from a commercial aircraft. I've been looking at buying a smaller aircraft or ultralight but for a decent one (that doesn't have a paraglider wing) they are quite pricey for me.

@beri232 Find your nearest glider club and hitch a ride (there is a minimal tow-charge) but that is the easiest and cheapest way to get up there :-)

szybownictwo jest bardzo ważne. Zacząłbym od tego. Później ulla czy ppla zależy od tego, co chcesz robić\osiągnąć. Ultralighty mają teraz naprawde dobre osiągi, do latania reakracyjnego są najlepsze, ale do lotnictwa zawodowego czy zarabiania na tym ppl to podstawa.
