1906 Emerson Trojan 12" stationary fan. Has the ornate "fluted" base, is 2-speed and the motor has the centrifugal starting switch. Great running machine. These were supposed to be lower grade fans, but are in reality very well made!

  • Nice Emerson. It is a nice fan. would you make videos longer than two minutes?. I find your videos a bit to short in duration.

My Canon Power Shot camera is limited to 3 minutes. Some day I will get a real video camera.

  • Had that exact same problem with a 1910 Westy from Susanin's auctions. The speed coil on mine was toasted to a cinder, all 3 speeds were exactly the same, and I had to get a whole new speed coil.

  • very nice unit

  • @NathanH5 Okay.

  • I'm liking these Trojans! Since you need to rewind the speed coil, you might try giving it a custom job on the re-wind to get a little lower low speed. I know the start switch is a factor though.
