READ MORE BELOW!!

Here is a quick test with the killer 2100 vs the onboard Nic. One thing I didnt cover was the software. If your into multitasking and downloading while your playing and a avoiding lag at the same time this NIC card will let you do that. With the Software your able to control the amount bandwidth to each software. So if you just want to send 5-10 MB to a download to a program you can. It also lets you control what programs run in the background so your system is just being used for gameplay.

Im sure I could go on and on and run test on the killer 2100 but as you can see the card does work and it does what it was made to do. The card has a built in CPU and Memory so your system isn't using up that resource just to get internet.

I will still suggest to get more information on the 2100 if its something your thinking about getting.

Hope you enjoyed the video.

  • do you like cod? :D

  • @thecomputerman100 : yes and no.. I like it because im good at it but the noob tubes are a pay in the ass. Im more of a battle field player I like war fights more then just a platoon of players. Communication on the coms ingame sucks no one wants to use them. Everyone thinks its just a run and gun game but its not. If the mode is a mission its hard trying to get it done when all everyone is doing is camping and run and gun. :D

  • which motherboard did you use on this test?

  • @TheHaha09 : I used a GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R. Onboard LAN=Chipset Realtek 8111D. LAN Speed= 10/100/1000Mbps.

  • Are those LCDs hanging on the wall or do you have some super strong desk frame? And if they are hanging on the wall why didn't you put one bezel in front of the others? I'm not asking just to be a nit picker im wondering if its even possible to put the two side TVs behind the others to make the bezels appear smaller when playing. Anyway nice setup again, peace.

  • @brian4480 : Thanks.. I tried to overlay the screens onto one another it don't like the way the windows looks when i drag them on my desktop. The screens are mounted on the wall the left and right side are swivel mounts and the middle one doesnt move. I plan on getting full pull out mounts so I can put them at atleast a 60deg angle, they are currently about 40-45deg.

  • upgrading my 811e to a killer 2100 very soon

  • Love your setup bro! Great Vid I have this card and I agree small improvements but overall better gaming experience as far as lag and latency, remember this won't do shit if you have a low end package from you isp.

  • no offense but I hope you dont just run CoD on that set up considering how old the game engine is

In relation to the K2100, I watched another video that described it as a smoother experience. Not so much what your ping is at, but a more stable connection. I know it is not much but on your graphs but the card does suggest some stability in various between high and low ping. No "oh I shot you but nufin!" etc, but generally, in a more competitive situation it counts; apparently. What do you think.
