@zzxx7890 it is an usb cable like device that you plug in your car's "usb" ( OBDII ) and after that in your laptop via usb :), but you will need a compatible software to run it.
let's say your cable is version 1.0 then your soft must be also 1.0
1.2 your soft also 1.2
and so on :) you can try e bay for one made in china but i suggest if you have money buy one from ross-tech !!!

From the VAGCOM you need to go to Navigation Menu. And activate the channel 50. It's value is 0 by default. Switch to 1 and the secret menu is enabled.
After fixing the vagcom issue. Just turn it on. Push the SETUP key for at least 20 seconds. It will show up the standart setup menu first, a secret radio menu for the second. And the third one is coming as the very secret menu. Just dont release the SETUP key until it pops up.
