  • meat eater argue that its a "necessary evil" whatever that means. plus most stop at "oh i like the taste" then ignore you from then on.

  • @nomoreyou1212 Ppl used to argue human slavery was necessary as well. Note that people always say it's necessary when it does not involve any hardship on their part. Everything can be changed. It just takes clear vegan education, not promotion of "happy" meat and giving awards to industry which is what large animal orgs are doing. We need a political grassroots vegan movement and there are more vegans every day. It will increase exponentially - the butterfly effect.

  • this is true, I'm just not so sure everyone will listen.

  • @nomoreyou1212 The truth is if animal advocates consistently campaigned for abolition--and thereby sent a clear message to the public--the reaction of industry would be to engage in welfare reform anyway. That is, it is not necessary to campaign for welfare reform. If we campaign for abolition, we will get reform anyway. But we will at least be positioned to be speaking clearly and delivering a clear message about veganism. So we would be further ahead. [cont'd]

  • @nomoreyou1212 [cont'd] Creative, nonviolent vegan education CAN work. It does work. If PETA, HSUS, RSPCA, etc. put their money (HSUS alone as $225 million in reserves) into vegan education, we could effect significant change overnight (or almost).

  • BRAVO!!!

  • I read 2 pages about "The ideal food" by the Danish spirit philosopher Martinus who had a revelation as 30 years old and spent 60 years bringing forth his work for humanity. He had cosmic consciousness and draws the big picture. Find the link under the Books point on my channel or search for Martinus and in Denmark the extension is DK afterwards the name on the Internet - to be eating dead animals is not spiritual - if we sustain the killing principle, wars will go on and on.

  • Peaceful vegan campaigning DOES work. I've witnessed it myself. It's difficult and very frustrating but it DOES work.

  • @nomoreyou1212

That just shows that they are not yet ready to get unplogged from the matrix of lie and scam programming they are hipnotized with... But STILL, truth vibrates within them, and starts a prosess... Every change has a prosess and a way to go... So go on, spread the seeds of better understanding, just don't puss to hard, as you waste energy on it... Good to make people think though... They'll eventually get it, as their consiousness grows... (o;=

  • This is so true and so effective!

  • DeF "Food" for thought, thank you (Broaching The Topic CAN sometimes seem like Mount Everest)... ps. Re. animaLs "tasting good": raw, unseasoned animaL FLesh AiN'T palatable to most humans -so what iS IT ReaLLY about, say, steak that people seem to thnk they crave?

  • It is hard sometimes to get through to people. I've tried and not only people my age but to older people that I thought should have some kind of knowledge, but as soon as I try to teach them well not even that... just try to let them know why I chose this they totally just attack me with nonsense. Well the day will come... hopefully

  • I often have discussions, in which the meat eater tells me that he doesn't care for the feelings, animals have.

And they often tell me, they would NEVER stop eating animals, because they taste so good.

It's frustrating sometimes. But I don't give up.

  • Integrity with your beliefs is an attractive thing. Be knowledgeable about the Vegan agenda and be confident with out arrogance. People will come to you for guidance. Thank you Gary.
