I studied in Tokyo as an exchange student from October 2008 to September 2009 and was always complaning about how the dorm was expensive, but after watching your video I see that I was lucky! o.O

Hello! Thank you very much for posting this video! I've just passed on the MEXT exam and listed Tsukuba University as one of my options. After watching your video I completely changed my mind. I checked the guidebook for international students and saw the price of this dorm! Incredible! How come University of Tsukuba could do this with foreign students?! By the way, as a girl I was quite scared with the idea of leaving my room in the middle of the night just to use the bathroom!!

I'm starting at Tsukuba as a grad student in April and was considering the dorm before I saw this, thanks for the enlightenment.

Wow, haha. Seems like fun.

Hi Daniel, I finally took my time to watch your video blogs. Very interesting...and disgusting...those toilets do not look very comfortable. And I thought Binghamton is a sh**h*l*. Anyway, keep us posted, ok?

Ah, the student's life abroad...some things are the same, no matter what part of the world you are in...

I say so, too. As does every person who I've met who has ever had the displeasure of living there, which obviously doesn't include the members of the student housing board. -_-;
I'd love to see what Ty would do with the place, especially the whole tearing-down-and-building-a-newer-better-and-enclosed-one. ^_^
