Meet AGA Miles--a young (he's about 3 yrs old although the video says 1 yr old), sweet male Golden Retriever that was found in an Alabama animal shelter. Yes, he's missing his right front leg. Miles has had a rough start to his life. He was shot in the leg and did not receive the medical care he deserved. The leg healed poorly and, because of his limited mobility, he was hit by a car and suffered a fractured leg--the same one with the bullet fragment still lodged.
He is kind, obedient, quiet, shy at first and generally happy-go-lucky. He rides well in a car and is considered housebroken. He gets along with other dogs and doesn't let his disability slow him down. He knows most of his basic commands and is still learning. Ask to meet him! Visit www.adoptagoldenatlanta.com/orphans.
"I don't have a disability. I have a different ability." --Author unknown, but it is now Miles's mantra.
Thanks for the information. I have posted his video on Tripawds.com to get the word out! He's adorable!
