If one man in Australia embodies the mantra of quality over quantity, it's Melbourne MC and producer Trem One. His decade-long discography encompasses two sought after white label 12"s, two releases with his crew Lyrical Commission, production, raps and oversight on fellow commissioner Brad Strut's solo releases and a small handful of carefully selected guest verses and production credits. Wow... some Hip_hop made here in Oz that I actually enjoyed... Fuck triple J and the whole Skip-Hop support.....99% doesn't deserve to be played especially if you're not gonna play the newKendrick Lamar Freddie Gibbs or Nas record that just dropped right next to it. I'm all for local support, just not mediocre shit. TREM actually does his thing and as much as I find the accent hard to get by he does US justice (by US I mean people who appreciate real rap.... not just hilltopHoods fans)
