Yup, The parade is New York. I think the Apollo 11 parade was pretty big as well, but I think that Lindbergh's still holds the record

When we see Lindbergh holding the American flags was, indeed, taken at the American embassy in Paris after his historic 1927 flight. However, the parade he is being driven through in the open car and throughout the rest of the clip were all from his reception in New York city in June of that year.
