Full transcript:
Anonymous would like to share the following views with the press and the public with regard to the video recently posted by the Church of Scientology at anonymous-exposed.org. You can find an alternative version of this video at doiop.com/cosvid.
To reiterate, the mission of Anonymous is to expose the truths about the so-called church, or rather, cult of scientology and systematically dismantle the organization. We do not intend to physically harm any members of the Church of Scientology or the followers of L. Ron Hubbard's Dianetics. The actions taken by the members of Anonymous do not necessarily reflect the objectives of Anonymous as a whole. We aim to destroy the Cult of Scientology for their atrocities against human beings and their policies, such as the "fair game" policy where a person that is declared fair game, usually an enemy of the organization, can be attacked legally or illegally in any way, while the cult will not punish them for their actions. We aim to destroy the Cult, while we respect the decision of others to practice L. Ron Hubbard's religion and do not wish to physically harm them.
With regard to the video posted by the Church of Scientology at anonymous hyphen exposed dot org, and on YouTube, LiveLeak and other video sharing websites, we believe that this video is not representative of the Anonymous campaign. We believe that much of the the so-called "evidence" that Anonymous has committed hate crimes against the Church of Scientology were fabricated by the Church of Scientology.
We find it suspicious that the Church of Scientology has information such as the number of phone calls made by Anonymous to the Church of Scientology and other portions that the video includes.
With regard to the n-word being faxed to the Church of Scientology, we also find it suspicious as to why Anonymous finds it rewarding to our campaign would fax this to the Church of Scientology, but even more, why the Church of Scientology has a video of this being faxed.
Lastly, we find it suspicious that Anonymous reportedly referred to the Church of Scientology as "you" as if it were a person.
All in all, we feel that this video and the so-called "facts" presented were fabricated by the Church of Scientology.
We would also like to call your attention to the DVD that the Church of Scientology has distributed that claims to be from YouTube, posted by a member of Anonymous that describes a bomb threat posted by Anonymous. However, there are differences between this YouTube video and the DVD distributed by the Church of Scientology. The Church of Scientology claims to have made their DVD from the YouTube video. We noticed that the DVD distributed by the Church of Scientology was much higher quality than the YouTube video - leading us to believe that the Church of Scientology fabricated the video and posted it as well as distributed the DVD as propaganda. You may view the comparison at doiop.com/cosdvd.
Thank you.
