Alien 3 is my favourite with 2 and then 1. The scenary is theatrical and the images almost lyrical... Still don't know what people don't like about it. There's tension and darkness and dispair and the whole claustrophobia of the action's location makes the spectator almost as uneasy as the characters trough the entire movie. Alien 4 could have been superb, if only the director would have been alone at the wheel... I DO like each time Ripley appears though!

I've never really had as much of a problem with Alien 3 as most people seem to have. It's not fantastic but I certainly don't hate it.

But yeah AVP and AVPR are total buckets of excrement.

Do you legitimately think that the Space Jockey is being created particularly for Prometheus? Although this movie certainly expands on the story of the Space Jockey, it was originally created in Alien (1979), the only seriously good movie in the series.
