Just received two images from ImageKind.com. I already unwrapped both of them (couldn't wait!) but decided to show you what it looks like when the delivery guy just stopped by. Mind you, I did a really poor job at re-wrapped that first picture. It was just to give you a feel for it.
Overall, I think the wrapping job is adequate. There's enough plastic wrap and bubble wrap that even in the event that the cardboard would suffer a slight water damage, the picture should not be affected.
Obviously, if you tried to pierce the package with a knife, you would certainly damage the picture. Same goes if the box is immerged completely underwater. How likely is it that it would justify a bulletproof box anyway?
Slight water damage is the more likely scenario, as any resident of Seattle would tell you. FedEx just drop my box FLAT and exposed, even though there's a giant warning label that says DO NOT LAY FLAT.
I don't imagine FedEx folks can't read, so maybe it's a time or training issue. In any case, ImageKind has not control over it.
yes. FEDEX are very unprofetional
