NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Rally 502) Out of Los Angeles, this stunning, 1965 atmospheric Spectorian obscurity is one that should have been a hit. Recorded in April of 1965 at Hollywood's legendary GOLD STAR STUDIO, it showcases a larger than life arrangement similar in sound to The Ronettes' 'Born to Be Together', Clydie King's 'The Thrill Is Gone' and Jill Jackson's 'Here Comes The Night'. The depth of Gold Star's unique, living and breathing echo chamber is displayed effectively with this release.

  • Wow! 1st time hearing for me and I'm stunned. Your description is spot on. I'll just add (if I'm reading right) that Saraceno was a fine producer closer associated with the Surf genre.

  • @lesgore54 If I was ever stranded in the desert with only one song on my ipod to listen to, this would be it. I went into orbit the first time hearing it and am still moved by it.

Joe Saraceno's name was all over the Marketts records. Of course, that group was just a interchangeable ensemble of The Wrecking Crew. Saxaphonist, Plas Johnson and drummer Hal Blaine to name two.

  • @lesgore54 Beverly was a friend of mine in Fresno,Cal.

  • @rpagemagic69 What I wouldn't give to have a conversation with both you and Beverly. One of my all time favorite records. She was robbed of hit status on this one
