I need serious help!!!!
how do I join my layers?

@isurewould Thank you so much! There are so few people who have tutorials on youtube who do an excellent job of both explaining AND showing in detail in the video what to do. You're one of the rare birds who does it just right. :-)

Thank you, for a really informative set of videos. There is so much rubbish posted on the other so called 'help' videos, this one stands out by miles.
Thank you again. Sam, UK

ok lets say I want to outline a pencil drawing I did physically with a paper and pencil. I scan it in to my computer and then what? I want to outline it with the program then delete the orginal pencil beneath the final outline. Any ideas?
There are two ways.
1.) start on the top layer and click on the "merge layers down" button on the bottom of the layers window. Do this repeatedly until you've combined layers you want to combine.
or
2.) go to the "Image" MENU, and click on "flatten". This will make all the layers combine immediately.
Hope that helps.

Great! I am glad it was helpful!

That should be easy. Just do your sketch on new layer above your pencil drawing. (I would recommend getting a drawing pad for that sort of activity). Then uncheck the pencil scanned layer and save the visible layer as a jpg.

im trying to put a picture on top of a picture but everytime i go to layers and select import file from and select another pic the first one becomes tiny its pissing me off i cant figure the crap out can you help

@HellOHstars69 Your two images are different sizes. The first picture is very small, and the second one is very big. You should probably reduce the size of the second layer by reducing it and cropping it. Or when you import it, don't expand the canvas size, and then resize the second picture before you do anything else.
