I'm not a Stanford student. But, even I know, those aren't cheerleaders. It's the dance line! The only similarity to cheerleaders is the occasional use of those pom-poms (which look to be made from brightly dyed tin foil; although, I'm probably wrong).

These are Stanford students. They're studying three times as hard as Cal students. If their choreography isn't perfect, that's why. Besides, the whole point is FUN!
