This is a beautiful song, arguably the best of the Everlys not written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant. I am surprised that it has not been covered more by country artists.

@ARIZJOE I've heard other artists sing it....not good.  The only other person that can sing this is "Marty Wild". He sings it with his daughter!! All most as good.

Vince Gill performed a really heart-felt version of this song on TNN about fifteen years ago as his marriage was breaking up in real life, made all the more poignant by Janis his soon to be ex singing in the back-up chorus...very sad indeed!

The two brothers are a musical delight and a gift to all who appreciate true talent. Their parents must have been so so proud of their boys who achieved success after teaching them everything they knew. So fine and yet so rare.
