I love the whole "white people copy black people's music" argument. I'm trying to think of a genre of music that exploded after someone played sound effects on top of a Kraftwerk album. Hmmm... Oh yeah. Hip Hop. Ever wonder why old Negro spirituals sounded like white gospel music and not like African music. Hip hop moguls with classical orchestration. I could go on and on. Music is culture and cultures mix. Merging musical tastes and styles is what's best about music imo.
