I love em! my akitas will sit out all night long in zero degree temperature and wake up the next morning wagging there tails. Such strong, loving dogs. I have 2 Akita/samoid mix'x

They're large, powerful, stubborn, very smart, and males can have dominance issues after 3 years of age. They're also extremely loyal, affectionate, great with families, and all-around great dogs. My favorite breed.

I have Akitas and I will say that they are awesome but it is NOT the dog or breed but the owners!!!! And Akitas are not a dog for everyone.

I have a rott/akita/pit. Pretty powerful, strong dog of course, he looks good espcially in the snow just like your dog. SO stubborn, but I'm more stubborn than he! lol Not so good with other dogs, he's had 2 friends in his life, but he's only 2 so we're workin on that. Other than that one flaw, he's very loyal, best guard dog you could have, if someone doesn't walk right, he notices.. I'd slit my own throat to have that dog live forever with me.

Huskies dont care about their owners? what kind of huskies have u been around... my 3 would give their life for me if they needed to..... they almost always are laying next to me or doing stuff with me and are great off leash... Dont say a breed sucks when you dont have first class experience..

none of this sounds too shocking really-having been around malamutes, and my brother's husky, i'm used to dogs with dominance issues.
