Villagers: "US troops killed 46, threw children into wells"

People's Council of Khost Province in Afghanistan in a meeting condemned the US troops for killing 48 civilians in their raid on the villages.

They say the troops entered people's houses and did ill-treatment with the villagers and even threw some women and children in the wells.

A woman Member of Parliament from Paktia province also approves the report and says she has evidence that women and children have been thrown to wells.

The newsletter of NATO mentions the civilians killed only 3.
